About SET

SET is a structural testing lab that specializes in wall and roof assembles testing. Testing is compliant with relevant ASTM methods and reports are sealed by a licensed engineer.

SET performs research and development work for a variety of manufactures who choose to expand their product lines and are seeking third party confirmation on those products they are developing. SET provides project specific baseline testing and work in place confirmation testing that provided owners and builders real time answers to product performance and consistency. Work in place confirmation is a bit like concrete core test of building slabs; however, we do not have to wait 28 days for the sample to cure. In most cases the sample test results are communicated with in 24 hours of receipt of the sample.

SET was founded by Matt B. Phelps, P.E. who personally performs and oversees lab operations. Our lab operates in compliance with ISO 17025 quality procedures and doggedly peruses accurate and precise results with every test for every client.

SET is also an ISO quality inspection firm that will come to your facility and inspect your manufacturing process and quality program.
